The Candle Lighters is a 100% volunteer board and organization. We need volunteers to serve on the board, plan and execute fundraisers, and raise awareness for children with Down syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Candle Lighters consists primarily of parents and relatives of Stepping Stones students. All family and friends of students and alumni are encouraged to volunteer their time for our fundraisers to help raise awareness and funds for The Arc of Essex Early Intervention program at Stepping Stones.
PARENTS/ALUMNI
We have an amazing faculty and staff at Stepping Stones and The Arc of Essex County who support The Candle Lighters by helping with wrapping baskets, attending Tricky Tray and our various events. It makes such a difference to have the staff supporting Early Intervention and the school.
